Fusarium temperatum J. Scauflaire et F. Munaut 2011
The fungus is widely distributed and infects mainly maize. It produces the mycotoxins fumonisin B2 and B1. F. temperatum belongs to the Fusarium fujikuroi complex and is closely related to Fusarium subglutinans. Typically, the macroconidia are 4-septate with a foot-shaped basal cell.
