Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. tulipae W.C. Snyder & H.N. Hansen 1940
The fungus infects tulip plants (Tulipa), causing “bulb rot” or “basal rot”, mainly during storage of the bulbs. Planting diseased bulbs results in stunted growth, chlorosis and usually plant death before flowering.
