Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. basilici Tamietti & Matta 1988
This fungus is widely distributed. It infects basil plants causing a Fusarium wilt disease. In seedlings, the disease can lead to plant death within a week after the appearance of symptoms. It spreads mainly through seeds and for management, the disinfection of the seeds is recommended.
