Dactylonectria L. Lombard & Crous 2014

This genus is widely distributed and most species are associated with black foot disease of grapevine. The species are similar to Ilyonectria and Neonectria "but can be distinguished by their characteristic ovoid to obpyriform, smooth to finely warted, dark-red perithecia with papillate ostiolar region at the apex" (Lombard & Crous, 2014).
