Coccophagus scutellaris (parasitoid) (Dalman, 1825)
This wasp is widely distributed and an endoparasitoid of soft scale insects, including species of the genera Ceroplastes, Coccus, Pulvinaria and Saissetia. It is commercially produced in some countries and it has been mass-released against several soft scale pests (e.g. Abd-Rabou, 2011). Females are around 1.5 mm long, males are smaller.
