Pyrrhoderma noxium (Corner) L.W. Zhou & Y.C. Dai 2018

This fungus causes a brown rot on the roots and the wood of various trees in tropical and subtropical regions. The host range includes several hundred plant species. For example, it infects the trunks of fruit trees or oil palms. In the latter case, causing wilting of the fronds (upper stem rot of oil palm).
