Neocosmospora pisi (F.R. Jones) Sand.-Den. & Crous 2019

This fungus is widely distributed and infects peas and some other legumes. It has been also isolated from soil samples. The main symptoms are root rot and foot rot, resulting in yellowing, starting from the older leaves, or in damping off in susceptible cultivars. N. pisi is part of the Fusarium solani species complex.
