Leptographium longiclavatum S.W. Lee, J.J. Kim & C. Breuil 2005
The fungus is found in North America and is a symbiont of the mountain pine beetle, helping it to colonise pine trees. It is pathogenic to pine trees and may contribute to the mortality of pines infested by the beetle (Lee et al. 2006).
