Hop latent virus (HpLV)
The virus infects hop plants in various regions. Typically, no symptoms are visible, but the affected plants have a reduced growth and yield. It is transmitted by the hop aphid in a non-persistent manner or by mechanical means. The virus is related to Potato virus M.
