Fusarium udum E.J. Butler 1910

The fungus is widespread and soil-borne in tropical regions and causes vascular wilt on pigeonpea. Infected plant show rapid yellowing and wilting, followed by plant death. Like other Fusarium species, 3 types of asexual spores are produced (macroconidia, microconidia and chlamydospores), as well as sexual ascospores.
