Fusarium concentricum Nirenberg & O'Donnell 1998

The fungus is found in various regions, causing, among others, fruit rot on pepper. Agar colonies are charcterized by alternating red and orange concentric rings. Microconidia may have 1 septa and are oval, obovoid to allantoid. Macroconidia are relatively slender and straight, 3-5-septate, with a beaked apical cell and a foot-shaped basal cell.
