Eutypella (Nitschke) Sacc. 1875
The fungi of this genus cause cankers on trunks and branches. Forest trees and crops like citrus or grapevine are affected. Several species have been reported to cause significant damage. Eutypella is closely related to the genus Eutypa. Asexual forms of both genera have been often described under the genus Libertella.
