Abstract: A granulosis virus of Heliothis armiger (Hübner) from South Africa was shown to be pathogenic to Heliothis zea (Boddie), Spodoptera frugiperda (J. E. Smith), S. exigua (Hubner), and Trichoplusia ni (Hübner), all Lepidoptera: Noctuidae.
