Colletotrichum scovillei Damm, P.F. Cannon & Crous 2012 - (pepper anthracnose)
The fungus is found in south-eastern Asia and has been also reported from Brazil (Caires et al., 2014). It infects mainly green pepper (Capsicum), causing anthracnose symptoms. It can also infect other plants. The species is closely related to Colletotrichum acutatum.
