Ceratorhiza hydrophila (Sacc.) Z.H. Xu, T.C. Harr., M.L. Gleason & Batzer 2010

This fungus is widely distributed and has been reported from several hosts in aquatic environments. For example it causes globular sclerotial disease on rice, where it causes black lesions on the sheaths. Like in other Ceratorhiza species, it produces spherical sclerotia.
