Ceratocystis manginecans M. van Wyk, A. Adawi & M.J. Wingf. 2007

This fungus is found in the Near East and southern Asia. It infects mangoes and other trees, causing vascular discolouration and a serious wilt and decline disease which has killed thousand of mango trees in western Asia (Al Adawi et al. 2014). It appears to be vectored by the wood-boring mango bark beetle, Hypocryphalus mangiferae.
