Calonectria eucalypti L. Lombard, M.J. Wingf. & Crous 2010

This fungus has been originally described as infecting eucalypts in Indonesia. The species Calonectria pseudocolhounii has been later described as causing leaf blight on eucalypt trees in southern China (Chen et al., 2011) and was subsequently also reported from Hawaii, where it infected the endemic shrub Vaccinium reticulatum, causing severe leaf spots, stem lesions, and defoliation (Keith et al., 2013). C. pseudocolhounii is now regarded as a synonym of C. eucalypti (Liu et al., 2020).
