Melampsora larici-epitea Kleb. 1899

This fungus is one of several species Melampsora causing rust diseases of willow (Salix), e.g. see Melampsora epitea. Aecia are found on Larix species. A number of pathotypes (formae speciales) and subspecies have been described.
