Piezodorus Fieber, 1861

The genus contains more than 10 species of medium-sized stink bugs, widely distributed in tropical and subtropical regions. Some species are considered agricultural pests, attacking crops like soybeans, other legumes, cotton and others. Many species are green, sometimes with reddish-brown marks. The genus is closely related to the genus Nezara and can be separated by the morphology of the sternum.
