Piezodorus hybneri (Gmelin) - (red-banded shield bug)

The stink bug is a pest of soybeans and other crops in Asia and parts of Africa. Records from Australia apparently refer to Piezodorus grossi Staddon 1997. The adults are about 10 mm long, pale green with a pink stripe on the neck.
