Trichoderma atroviride P. Karst. 1892
This fungus is widely distributed and a parasite of other fungi. It is valued as a mycoparasitic antagonist against various fungal diseases of plants. For example those caused by Botrytis cinerea, Rhizoctonia solani or Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, e.g. see Swaminathan et al. (2016).
