Tomato planta macho viroid (TPMVd)

This viroid has been reported from Central and North America, infecting mainly tomato and other Solanaceae. Infected tomato plants initially stop growing and show drooping of the leaves, crinkled leaves and veinal necrosis. At a later stage, small chlorotic leaves and small fruits are produced.
