Temnoscheila chlorodia (predator) (Mannerheim, 1843)
This bark beetle predator is commonly found on conifer trees in North America, preying on Dendroctonus and Ips species. It is attracted to the pheromones of these bark beetles as well as to pine tree volatiles. There is one generation per year.
