Sri Lankan cassava mosaic virus (SLCMV)

The virus causes a cassava mosaic disease in India and Sri Lanka. Since 2015 it has also caused outbreaks in Cambodia and since 2017 in Vietnam (Uke et al., 2018). In India, SLCMV is found together with other related cassava viruses like the Indian cassava mosaic virus. See also the African cassava mosaic virus for similar viruses.
