Sida golden mosaic virus (SiGMV)
This begomovirus has been reported from Central America, southern North America and parts of northern South America. It infects mainly weeds from the genus Sida like Sida rhombifolia, but has been also reported from some crops like beans. On beans it causes foliar mottling, puckering, and leaf curling (Durham et al., 2010). Diseased plant have been associated with whitefly infestations which are likely vectors of the virus.
