First report of Sida golden mosaic virus infecting snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) in Florida

Abstract: During 2006, snap bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) plants grown in Florida (U.S.A.) were observed with symptoms of foliar mottling, puckering, and curling. The presence of Sida golden mosaic virus was demonstrated in the symptomatic plants using PCR analysis and nucleotide sequencing.
