Riptortus pedestris (Fabricius, 1775) - (bean bug)

The bug is found in eastern Asia, where it is a sucking pest of soybean, common beans and various other leguminous crops. The main damage is caused by adults and nymphs feeding on the developing pods which deform and can no longer be harvested. This species has been often misidentified as Riptortus clavatus.
