Podosphaera mors-uvae (Schwein.) U. Braun & S. Takam. 2000 - (gooseberry mildew)

The fungus is found in Europe, Asia, North America and some other regions. It causes a powdery mildew disease on gooseberry and currant (Ribes), forming greyish white patches on leaves and fruits which turn brownish later in the season.
