Phyllosticta psidiicola (Petr. 1953) Aa 1973

The fungus causes guava black spot in South America. It can infect the fruits during different stages of their development, but symptoms do not appear until the fruits ripen and the disease is mainly a post-harvest problem. The symptoms include sunken lesion which grow in a concentric manner.
