Orthoptera (weed bioagents) - (grasshoppers, crickets against weeds)
Various grasshopper and cricket species have been used for the biological control of weeds or have been reported as being harmful to weeds. For example, the hyacinth grasshopper has been released in South Africa against water hyacinth.
