Oligonychus punicae (Hirst, 1926) - (avocado brown mite, avocado bronze mite)
The mite is widely distributed and a pest of avocado in some regions like North and Central America. See also Oligonychus perseae for a closely related species that also infests avocado. Both species can be found on other plants.
