Oculimacula yallundae (Wallwork & Spooner 1988) Crous & W. Gams 2003

This fungus causes eyespot disease in cereals (see also Oculimacula acuformis). In Europe the disease is serious during mild winters (mainly on winter sown crops of wheat and barley) and during humid springs. The fungus attacks the stems where it causes characteristic, elongated lesions.
