Oculimacula acuformis (Nirenberg) Y. Marín & Crous 2018
The fungus causes eyespot disease of cereals in Europe and North America. The symptoms include elliptical eye-shaped spots on the stem at the base of the plants. The symptoms are indistinguishable to those caused by Oculimacula yallundae and both fungi might occur on the same plant.
