Lucilia eximia (Wiedemann, 1819)
The blowfly is a dump fly in the Americas which breeds for example in garbage and carcasses. Several cases have been recorded of it causing myiasis in domestic animals like dogs (e.g. Muñoz-García et al., 2016) and it is apparently attracted to wounds.
