Lucerne transient streak virus (LTSV)

This virus has been originally described from Australia, but is also found in several other regions. It infects mainly Medicago sativa (alfalfa or lucerne). The symptoms can be transient and have been described as vein yellowing and yellow flecks along the veins. In Saudi Arabia, Sonchus oleraceus can be also naturally infected with LTSV, apart from alfalfa, and other plants like Chenopodium are susceptible to mechanical inoculation (Raza et al., 2017).
