Hyaloperonospora (genus)
The oomycetes of this genus cause downy mildew diseases like Hyaloperonospora parasitica or Hyaloperonospora brassicae. For example brassicas are commonly infected. The genus is similar to Peronospora. However, Hyaloperonospora species form colourless conidia and large, vesicular to lobate haustoria.
