Golovinomyces longipes (Noordel. & Loer.) L. Kiss 2019

This fungus is widely distributed and causes powdery mildew diseases on Petunia and several crops like eggplants and tobacco. The symptoms included a white mycelium on both side of the leaves which become chlorotic and curl upwards, leading to premature defoliation. The conidia are egg-shaped and around 30 x 10-15 µm large.
