Festuca filiformis (weed) Pourr. - (hair fescue)

This grass is considered to be native to Europe, but has been introduced into North America and other regions. It can be a serious weed in crops like lowbush blueberry fields, where it forms dense tufts. Infestations can reduce the yield by >50% and interfere with harvesting equipment.
