Exorista bombycis (Louis) - (Indian silkworm ujifly)
is an endoparasitoid of the silkworm, Bombyx mori. The fly belongs to the family of Tachinidae and is found in Asia, Australia and Africa where it is a problem in the sericulture industry. In India economic losses are estimated at 10-15%.
