Eragrostis plana (weed) Nees - (South African lovegrass, tough lovegrass)

This tussock-forming grass is native to tropical Africa and has been introduced into South America around 1940. It has become invasive in some habitats, like pastures. Since it has low palatability, it is generally avoided by grazing animals.
