Davidsoniella Z.W. de Beer, T.A. Duong & M.J. Wingf. 2014
The genus is characterized by its elongated, spindle-shaped and sheathed ascospores as well as by its DNA structure. It is related to the genera Ceratocystis and Endoconidiophora.

Type species: Davidsoniella virescens.
