Cylindrocladiella peruviana (Bat., J.L. Bezerra & M.P. Herrera) Boesew., 1982

This fungus is widely distributed and infects a variety of plants like grapevine, eucalypt, or avocado. Infections result in rots on the roots, stem and crown with internal brown to black streaking. External symptoms include stunted growth, leaf chlorosis and dieback. The conidia are rod-shaped, elongated, straight, rounded on both ends, with 1 septum and a size of around 8-15 x 2-3 µm.
