Citrus exocortis viroid (CEVd)
The viroid is widespread in citrus-growing areas. The infected trees are stunted with yellow lesions and cracks develop on the bark of susceptible varieties. The fruit colour develops early and crop yield is reduced. It is transmitted through grafting.
