Chloris (weeds) Swartz - (windmill-grasses, finger grasses)
This genus of grasses is common in tropical and subtropical regions and includes around 60 species. Some species have been introduced or are grown as forage crops, but several are considered important agricultural weeds. For example, Chloris virgata affects cotton and other crops in Australia and other regions. Typically the plants grow to a height of 50-100 cm.
