Cheravirus (genus)
This genus includes plant viruses similar to the Cherry rasp leaf virus. These infect fruit trees, berries and root crops, causing deformations on leaves and fruits or latent infections. The particles are isometric (ca. 25-30 nm) with two ssRNAs molecules (around 7000 and 3300 nt large) and three capsid proteins. The viruses are transmitted through dagger nematodes (Xiphinema) and seed/pollen (Nakamura et al., 2011).
