Cenchrus spinifex (weed) Cav. - (coastal sandbur)

This weed is native to South America and Africa, but is invasive in other regions. For example it is a problem in North America, Australia and parts of Asia where it affects grassland and cereals. It forms two types of seeds that are referred to as "small seeds" and "big seeds".
