Brevipalpus lewisi McGregor - (citrus flat mite)

The mite is widely distributed in North and Central America and is also found in parts of Europe, Asia and Africa. It is polyphagous feeding on crops like citrus, pomegranate, walnut, grapes, pistachio and various ornamentals. Heavy infestations on citrus can cause yield losses.
