Boraginaceae - (borage family)
This family contains around 2,000 species of herbs, shrubs and trees. The leaves and stems of many members are covered by coarse hairs which might cause itchiness. The flowers are radial symmetrical and have five petals. A number of species are agricultural weeds. For example, Cynoglossum officinale is invasive in North America and is toxic to cattle.
