Bacterial/prokaryote diseases of beneficial insects

The diseases of beneficial insects insects like honey bees include various bacteria but also some prokaryote diseases like Spiroplasma melliferum. Economically the most important pathogen is Paenibacillus larvae which causes American foulbrood.
