Bacillus mojavensis (antagonist) Roberts, Nakamura & Cohan
The bacterium is an endophyte of cereals like maize which is antagonistic to Fusarium , e.g. Fusarium verticillioides. The antagonistic activities of B. mojavensis results in hyphal distortions, vacuolization, and lysis of the pathogen. The species is closely related to Bacillus subtilis.
